Town of Victoria Park used a wide variety of methods to engage with the community, from car boot sales to utilising shopping centres for markets. A big plus was using entertainment for kids and workshops on up-cycling activities. Watch the video presentation to learn more. 

Going into their fourth year of Garage Sale Trail, Town of Victoria Park's Environmental Officer, Brendon Nock, talks about the variety of ways they have engaged with the community such as car boot sales, utilising shopping centres for markets, groups sales with 50+ stalls and workshops, up-cycling activities and entertainment for kids, and more.

They have also particularly found success in partnerships with different organisations within the community, as well as networking and community engagement. In this interview, Brendon Nock reviews the Councils previous efforts, and their upcoming plans for Garage Sale Trail. ​​
